Hi! I’m Bel, your Family, Wedding and Funeral celebrant.
Meet Your Celebrant: Bel’s Commitment to Personalised Ceremonies
Hello! I’m Bel, your dedicated Family, Wedding, and Funeral celebrant, originally from Kent, known as the Garden of England.
Now based in Essex, I share my life with my wonderful husband, two stepsons, and two adorable grandsons. I believe in the importance of inclusivity and a personal touch in every ceremony, whether it’s a wedding, commitment ceremony, or a heartfelt memorial.
Each event is crafted uniquely to reflect the essence of those involved, ensuring that every moment is memorable and meaningful.
With a passion for reading, gardening, and wellness practices like yoga and meditation, I bring a holistic approach to my celebrant work.
Serving the South East area, including Essex, Kent, Surrey, London, and Suffolk, I am committed to creating heartfelt ceremonies that truly represent your journey, no matter the occasion.
Types of Ceremonies
Funeral
A funeral is a heartfelt opportunity for family and friends to say farewell and celebrate the life of a loved one. Together, we will honour their unique story through meaningful words, music, and memories. It’s natural to feel a mix of emotions, but you won’t be alone; we are here to help create a fitting tribute that reflects what you both cherished.
Memorials
With many families opting for direct cremation, planning a memorial service can provide closure. I can help you create a personalised tribute in a relaxed setting of your choice, reflecting your loved one’s unique personality. Whether it’s a reflective occasion or a joyful celebration, we will include meaningful items and themes that resonate with your family’s wishes.
Living Funerals / Wake
Living funerals, or living wakes, allow individuals to celebrate their lives with loved ones while still alive. This personalised occasion can take any form – an event or ceremony – tailored to the individual’s wishes. Anyone can host a living funeral, and you may choose to write your own eulogy to capture cherished memories. I can help you create this meaningful tribute.
Crafting personalised ceremonies that celebrate your unique journey with love and authenticity
What’s the difference between a celebrant and a registrar?
You may be asking what the difference is between a registrar and a celebrant. Aren’t they the same thing?
The simple answer is no! Firstly, both can be beautiful, but one is uniquely yours!
A registrar is a government official who conducts legally binding marriage ceremonies within the framework of civil law.
They typically perform weddings at registered venues or designated locations, following a standardised script to ensure all legal requirements are met and marriage certificates are issued.
In contrast, a wedding celebrant is your creative partner, specialised in creating a personalised and memorable ceremony that is unique to you.
